Antonello Caboni

Antonello Caboni is currently Lead QA Engineer at Huddle.net.

Graduated with a MSc in Electronic Engineering in 2005, Antonello started working as a Software R&D Engineer for an Italian start-up to kick off a government funded project with the aim of building a Triple Play / IPTV platform. It was during that time that he was exposed for the first time to Agile principles and practices.

He joined Huddle.net in January 2008 as an ASP.NET Web Developer and got actively involved since the very beginning in setting up an Agile development process that could allow the team to expand and deliver software in a controlled and sustainable way. In February 2009, after more than a year of hands-on and theoretical learning, he obtained his Scrum Master Certification with Tobias Mayer. In May 2009 he decided to make a change in his career and move away from development to testing with the aim of leading the QA team in Huddle.net towards an even more agile, sustainable and automated approach to testing.

Established in November, 2006, Huddle.net is based in London, UK.

Huddle is a network of secure online workspaces where you can share files, collaborate on ideas, manage projects and organise virtual meetings. It enables teams to work more effectively across boundaries, both inside and outside the enterprise.

In 2008, Huddle.net was named in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Social Software. In early 2009, Financial Times named it as one of 10 most promising UK start-ups, and it was named as Gartner’s Cool Vendor in Social Collaboration.  In June 2009 Huddle was named as one of 50 global tech start-ups to watch by BusinessWeek.
