Colin Grossman
Colin Grossman is Development Manager at Huddle.net. A Senior Project Manager and Software Development Manager with a decade of experience in delivering complex projects and systems, with a focus on web technology. Colin graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Statistics and Accounting in 1997, before completing a Post Graduate Diploma in IT Systems, both at the University of Strathclyde. Colin’s professional experience includes project management roles at PwC Consulting, IBM Global Services and lastminute.com, where he first became involved in managing Agile projects and implementing Agile development methods. Subsequently, Colin spent a short period as Director of Projects for Last.fm before joining Huddle.net to head up the expanding development team. Colin has extensive experience of managing Agile teams, and has introduced Agile development in a range of differing environments.
Established in November, 2006, Huddle.net is based in London, UK.
Huddle is a network of secure online workspaces where you can share files, collaborate on ideas, manage projects and organise virtual meetings. It enables teams to work more effectively across boundaries, both inside and outside the enterprise.
In 2008, Huddle.net was named in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Social Software. In early 2009, Financial Times named it as one of 10 most promising UK start-ups, and it was named as Gartner’s Cool Vendor in Social Collaboration. In June 2009 Huddle was named as one of 50 global tech start-ups to watch by BusinessWeek.
