Rob Desbois
Rob is the Software Development Manager for Chronos Technology, a synchronisation specialist and VAR in the telecom's sector. Part of a team of software engineers who are primarily responsible for our flagship product SyncWatch.
Technologies we deal with include: embedded Linux, GNSS (GPS) and eLoran, telecom's synchronisation & MTIE, C++, Apache, MySQL, PHP and all that goes with Web front-end development.
We have been working hard at incorporating Agile principles into our methodologies during 2009 and going into 2010, in particular we are using a Scrum-like (almost Scrum) workflow with a view to achieving real Scrum soon! An increasing amount of unit test coverage is also a shared goal.
