XT C20100309 Enterprise Architecture and Agile Development

"The Enterprise Architect and Agile Developer should be friends" Jon Hill, EA at BNP Paribas

Upstairs at the Artillery Arms 102 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8ND

7pm'ish start

For those of you not up on 1940's musicals, the title is paraphrasing the Oklahoma! song, "The farmer and the cowman should be friends"... I'll give a quick presentation on what Enterprise Architects think Enterprise Architecture actually is (often quite different from the reality); touch on what value EA teams think they should be providing (ditto) and summarise some of the issues both sides face in interacting with each other. We'll then open it up to talk through "As an Agile Dev project, I want an EA that <whatever> so that we I can <whatever again>"

Also have a look here and add any comments on areas to be covered

Cheers

Jon

Please note that many people tend to turn up without putting their names down. This is a bad habit because then other people are discouraged from coming. Don't be either of those types of people.

I'll be there

Not sure

  • Channing Walton

I won't be there.

  • Liz Keogh
  • Enrique Comba Riepenhausen: Sorry can't make it due to customer commitments :(
